Ghana Host 2023 WTTC ITTF
The 2023 WTTC ITTF – AFRICA/ WESTERN REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP was hosted by Ghana at the Trust Emporium in Accra.
The championship featured two players from New Juaben table tennis club- James Marfo and Samuel Akayade, their performance aided the the men’s team to win bronze medal for the Country.
This was James Marfor’s first appearance for the black loopers and his performance was incredible.
Samuel Akayade crucial encounter against Ivorian foreign based player Ange Koussi edge Ghana the opportunity to advance to the semi- finals of the championship.
